Welcome to Finchley

Finchley Golf Club’s excellent 18-hole parkland course is situated only eight miles from Central London and offers a challenging test to all standards of players.

Measuring just under 6,400 yards, it was designed in the 1920s by James Braid, who, in the first decade of the 20th century, was the five times winner of The Open Championship.  Braid designed more than 200 hundred courses during his illustrious career; and the competition for the James Braid Trophy, as well as various other National and County Tournaments, is now played annually at Finchley.

Finchley is also proud of its reputation as one of the most friendly clubs in North London. Visitors are always made welcome and new members soon feel as if they have belonged for years.  There is an enthusiastic group of lady golfers as well as a lively section dedicated to young beginners.

We have an accomplished team of specialists who are dedicated to providing members, guests and visitors with the highest quality of enjoyment both on the course and in the clubhouse. We make a point on providing a professional, friendly and hospitable service and an experience to savour.
