Greenkeeping Report - Autumn
Aeration - Greens, tees, approaches, fairways, coring, spiking, u-draining. The aeration programme takes a lot of time, and the work carried out is not always visible. It may appear that not a lot is being done, but I cannot stress how important the aeration programme is and how seriously it has been neglected in the past.
Leaves - Leaf clearing (this can be a long drawn out job, depending on how long leaves take to fall from trees)
Deep scarification of greens
Clean up tee mats
Clean out leaf dumps
Bring some greens out
